The Katola panel system provides all the style and durability but at a cost to better suit your budget than some of the higher end metal. They come in standard 44 3/8′′ x 16′′ 26 gauge sheets. They are ideal for homes, cottages, sheds, high-pitched roofs, and other difficult-to-reach jobs.

Description : A modern style of roofing. The biggest advantage to this roofing style is that all the fasteners are concealed under the panels making it extremely waterproof. These panels are a 24 gage which is a thicker steel in comparison to a regular panel which is 26-28 gage. The higher the number the thinner the steel the lower the number the thicker the steel. This style has all the best benefits and the best features and because of this it’s a higher end product.

Description: This is a unique product. It offers the lifespan and durability of a metal roof while giving the impression of a shingle roof. In fact it gives a bolder more defined outcome than a standard shingle roof. Stone-coated steel roofing is finished with a thick layer of stone that permanently adheres to the surface and provides the decorative look.

Under the trade name of bayview produced by my friend Gerhard Buchner from Northbay this product is made in Ontario by the Buchner family. The aluminum roof panels that Gerhard produces is the lightest panel around without any compromise on quality. With several styles and many colors and color blends you are sure to match any siding color or wall finish.

In most cases best bang for your buck. This has been the standard in metal roofing for 50 years.This panel is marketed as the most economical panel but if installed by professionals with all proper trim, flashing and accessories this roof style can be surprisingly nice looking. If you get “Bob” to install it you won’t like it but here at Trussler’s we know how to dress it up so that your neighbour will stare. The optimum rib panel is an excellent choice for residential, commercial, and agricultural roofing and siding.
